DevOps Engineer Leeds to £100k

DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer (Linux Kubernetes AWS CI/CD IaC) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a technologist seeking a role where you can work on complex and interesting systems on a modern tech stack, take ownership and contribute to the technical direction, quickly progressing to a hands-on leadership role?

You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, Cloud based technology.

As a DevOps Engineer you will focus on automating builds via CI/CD pipelines and getting code into production as quickly and efficiently as possible; supporting services before they go live via system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. You'll use automation to scale systems sustainably and help to make improvements, evolving systems and driving change that improves the reliability, speed and security. As a senior member of the team you'll collaborate closely with the Head of Infrastructure and help to mentor and provide technical leadership with the aim of quickly progressing to a lead role.

There's a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with 3-4 days a week Work from Home / remote thereafter. Requirements:

You have commercial experience as Linux / DevOps or Platform Engineer

You have a good knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS

You're able to script / code with Python and / or Golang

You have a good understanding of CI/CD, Terraform, Jenkins, JIRA, Docker, Jenkins

You have a good knowledge of Linux OS, Networking (routing, switching)

You're a collaborative technologist, continual learner who is constantly seeking improvement and happy to mentor and develop others

As a DevOps Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £100k) plus benefits.
