DV Cleared RedHat OpenStack Architect

3 month rolling, expected minimum 6 months

Must hold current DV clearance

Purpose of the requirement:

* Augment an onsite PaaS team who deliver PaaS services based on an OpenShift/OpenStack architecture for a private cloud capability

What is the customer's business Challenge?

* The customer has a significant portfolio of capability enhancements for the PaaS platform which have to be delivered by a small team concurrent to BAU service/devops obligations.

* The demand against the team requires a surge in capacity of appropriately skilled/cleared resource(s).

Mandatory Skills

Linux engineering

* Strong Linux engineering experience with up to date versions.

* Help to support, troubleshoot, maintain, develop and enhance a complex Linux system.

OpenStack

* Experience of deploying and maintaining OpenStack based platforms, using common OpenStack projects.

* Help to support, troubleshoot, maintain, develop and enhance an OpenStack platform.

Desirable Skills

* OpenStack upgrades - Experience with in-situ upgrades of production OpenStack environments, particularly FFU.

* Ceph storage - Experience with software defined storage solutions
