Senior Backend Engineer - GolangWe're have partnered with an industry leader in their field, with the high growth demands they are looking to hire on an immediate basis. The company is Headquartered out of Central London but this is a remote opportunity that can offer huge challenges and bigger opportunities to further your own career goals by working with the best in the business.highly experienced GoLang Engineer to work within a growing team and be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining my client's back end infrastructure. You'll be joining a vibrant and close-knit team where culture is important, all work will be completed remotely for the foreseeable.5+ years experience working with GoLangExperience designing systems (Architecture and Design)Ability to work autonomously given high-level requirementsExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores (DynamoDB, Redis)Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested softwareExperience with services / micro-service architectureMust be willing to work with a Ruby codebase (knowledge of Ruby a strong plus)Willingness to learn new languages & toolsNot mandatory, but would be nice to have:Experience with web architecture at scale (20krpm and above)Ruby and React knowledge will be a plusExperience solving logistical problems with softwareExperience with AWSExperience leading a team of developerExperience dealing with stakeholdersExperience with DataDog and other metric/tracking systems
