Test Lead / Manager - SC Cleared (Worthing, Telford, Leeds)

SC Cleared Test Lead / Manager is tasked with the overall responsibility for the test effort's success. The role involves quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort. This covers:

*Negotiating the ongoing purpose and deliverables of the test effort

*Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources

*Assessing the progress and effectiveness of the test effort

*Advocating the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects

*Advocating an appropriate level of testability focus in the software development process

Key Skills

*Well versed in Testing techniques, tools and latest trends, including SW engineering processes and automation;

*Candidates will need to hold current SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

*Experience of working and delivering projects within an Agile and DevOps environment

*Must have led testing activities in various projects, with teams up to 10 resources, ideally within a Distributed Delivery environment;

*Flexible, with good communication and analytical skills

*Experience of working in Bi-Modal Methodologies

*Experience of managing Cloud Migration Projects

*Experience of Managing Test Transition Projects

*Knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process

*Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools

*Good people skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills

*Planning, resource assignment, management skills

*Experience programming or managing programming teams (desirable)
