This role will be a customer facing role, with visits to customers premises as required to complete the projects and assignments. While not at customer sites, this employer allows for a flexible working arrangement blending remote working with their corporate office. There is a requirement to be able to regularly travel to customer sites, mainly within central London and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

- Design IT solutions to meet customer requirements

- Work within budgets to deliver solutions

- Create pre-sale technical resources & present to clients

- Deploy IT solutions for multiple businesses

- Provide technology roadmaps for both internal & customers

- Ensure documented technical solutions are created/shared

- Demonstrate technical guidance to existing tech staff

- Troubleshoot & remediate high level technical issues

- Manage, schedule & document work using internal service desk tools

- Maintain & Improve Customer Experience

Candidates must have excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills. Be self-motivated, have the ability to handle multiple assignments and have a proven track record in customer service

Candidates must possess:

- 5 years' experience in IT

- Experienced in IT project work (preferred outsourced IT or MSP)

- Professional IT accreditations e.g. Microsoft MCSA, or MCSE

- Expertise deploying MS Azure, Server & Desktop architectures

- Experienced designing, deploying & migrating to Microsoft 365

- Excellent knowledge of SharePoint

- Knowledge with PowerShell & common scripting languages

- Full understanding of DNS, DHCP, AD, GPO & Intune

- Knowledge of network standards, including vLan & routing

- Ability to design & support Enterprise SAN & HA solutions

- Complete understanding of Firewalling & Network Routing

- Ideally experienced with SOPHOS Security Portfolio

- Knowledge of leading AV & Backup software

- Good knowledge of Virtualisation Technology (VMware, Hyper-V)

- Commercial awareness in SME market

- Excellent knowledge of IT support tools, techniques, & how IT is used to improve business outcomes.
