Exciting role on offer for an ambitious CAD Designer from a construction background to join a fast growing and innovative Modular company.

Are you a CAD Designer with a background in construction looking to progress your career working on new and innovative projects? Are you looking to join an off-site construction company who work on large scale steel developments?

This company are specialists in the Modular and Portable building industry. They design, manufacture, and sell modular buildings ranging from classrooms to office blocks. They have an innovative approach to design and consistently create high quality builds and have continued to grow throughout the pandemic. They are therefore looking for a CAD Designer with Structural Steel experience to join their growing team, to work on current and new projects.

In this role you will be tasked with ensuring working drawings are issued for manufacturing of portable and modular buildings. You will complete research and development for new steel construction ideas and projects that the team are working towards. You will work closely with the structural engineers and suppliers when designing the steel structures. You will also have the exciting opportunity to liaise with the team to develop new design ideas. You will use 2D and 3D software so will need to have a good understanding of BIM and Revit.

This varied and exciting role would therefore suit a CAD Designer with previous experience in the construction industry with experience working with steel, who has an innovative flare for innovation and design.
