QA Test Engineer Richmond / Remote / WfH to £45k

QA Test Engineer (Manual / Automation Cypress) *Remote / WfH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting AI based systems as part of a highly intelligent team of tech entrepreneurs?

You could be joining a growing start-up that is utilising Machine Learning and AI technology to revolutionise a unique area within the farming space.

As a QA Test Engineer you'll partner with software engineers to ensure a high quality of coding standards. You'll create detailed and well-structured manual test plans and test cases; design and develop end-to-end automation scripts using Cypress and perform thorough regression testing when a bug has been resolved.

There's lots of interaction with the business and with clients to understand their needs and identify system requirements. You'll take ownership, investigate and recommend new technologies and approaches and will be able to shape the role and progress your career.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you could join colleagues in a beautiful riverside town in Richmond, South-West London / Surrey with excellent transport links close by or could continue to work fully remotely from anywhere in the UK.

Requirements:

You have both manual and automation test experience

You've used open source test tools, Cypress preferred

You're able to create clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

An understanding / experience with any of the following would also be beneficial: Node.js, Python, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, GraphQL

You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
