Technical Manager (Exam Question Databases) 

Doublestruck produces item and question banks for use by teachers. The content is derived from past exam papers and related materials and has to be prepared in HTML aligned to index tables. Onscreen tests are also being developed and follow a similar methodology. The question banks are used by teachers to support assessment in thousands of schools across the country who depend upon their accuracy and timely delivery of new content.

Doublestruck is part of AQA which sets and marks over half of the GCSEs and A-levels in the UK every year. 

We are looking for someone with good technical skills, an eye for detail and, if possible, an understanding of assessment. While primarily responsible for the release of the products, you will need to be able to work on all aspects of the process.

The ideal candidate has a good understanding of the English primary and secondary education structure and a technical background, is very organised, driven and able to motivate other people, can work on their own but committed to teamwork, can work effectively from home.
