My client, a Government body based in the City of London, are currently seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to work on an HR Data & Payroll System implementation Project. This will be for an initial 12-month period on a Fixed Term contract.You should ideally be immediately available or on a maximum of 2 week's notice.Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks and security vetting. The Technical Delivery Manager is a specialist data-focused role within the Digital Service.The role will oversee implementation of data related processes to move from in-house HR and Payroll to Cloud-based HR System including the de-coupling of payroll from the current Finance system. They will be responsible for leading, coordinating and successfully delivering several technical data Project Workstreams, as well as working directly with HR and Finance Business Leads. Key DeliverablesProvide leadership to the project teams and staff working within the project, directing the day-to-day activities of PMO staff working for and in this project area.Line management, coaching and mentoring of project managers, developing project managers and other project staffManage the project's data-focused workstreams, coordinating staff and working together with HR and Payroll Business Leads and teamsDelivering work stream objectives including defining the outcomes, timescales, costs, quality, governance arrangements, resource requirements and the appropriate approach.Managing delivery of project outcomes within the HR & Payroll remit, including planning, scheduling, providing appropriate assurance, managing interdependencies and allocated resources, and transitioning into business as usual.Reporting to the Project Executive, taking responsibility for the delivery of the technical aspect of the project, ensuring they are provided the information and support they need to make good and timely decisionsReporting to the relevant Programme or Portfolio Manager providing assurance on the delivery, benefits, effectiveness and efficiency within the work, and on its alignment with wider standards, activity and plans.Working with stakeholder groups to secure business support, leadership, resources and delivery of benefits.Required ExperienceExperience in a similar role, ideally within the public sector.Significant experience in relation to HR & Payroll system implementations and delivering large, complex deployments and working with cloud-based technology, third-party suppliers, and internal technical teams.Experience of managing Data Cleansing, Migration, Master Data management and system interface processes.Experience of Implementation of solutions to support security accreditation, compliance or auditing is desirable.
