My Telecoms client is looking for a Balance Sheet Finance Manager for an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend.

This role is inside of IR35.

Service Platforms is a major Business unit in Technology.'Service Platforms' is the technology enabling 30 million EE & BT mobile customers, 5.5 million BT Sport customers, 2 million BT TV customers and over 10 million voice and broadband customers. We have responsibility for financial, compliance, audit and risk activities. With responsibility for c2665 TLR, GMC of c£920m, CapEx of c£750m and a Balance Sheet of c£5bn assets the role holder must support the Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Cost Transformation in ensuring the unit performs all its duties within the fiscal envelopes. The role holder will be expected to have significant influence across both the Service Platforms team and the central planning team.

What I'll be doing:

*Direct report to the Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Cost Transformation with responsibility for:

oBudgetary and financial reporting activities for the Service Platforms Balance sheet, working capital and cash.

oAccountability for all accounting, control and governance matters in relation to Service Platforms Balance sheet.

oCost Transformation, OFCOM & Delivery forecasting and Finance Wave sign off

oDriving the Cost Transformation agenda across Service Platforms

oLinkage of the cost transformation benefits to CFU funding and OWC

oBusiness Partner for Delivery & Transformation units

*GMC £m 100

*Working Capital £m 400

*Cost transformation £m 25pa

*Role holder will be expected to influence all of Service Platforms and Technology Finance to deliver.

The Skills need:

*Typically degree level or equivalent

*Fully qualified accountant / Further qualification to support specialism (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, IR Society Certificate or equivalent), or exceptionally equivalent experience.

*Experience across a wide range of finance disciplines desirable.

*Experience of driving cross CFU change.

*Demonstrable professionalism with a proven ability to operate in a complex, fast paced matrixed business environment.

*A track record of effectively influencing stakeholder requirements

*Strength of driving a customer centric approach in all financial processes.

*Collaborative approach to problem solving
