Senior Backend API Developer (Python/ Django) - FULLY REMOTE - Up to £70,000This role is offered as a fully remote position, providing you are eligible to work in the UK without restriction.You will be joining an International, fast-growing technology business who offer a range of bespoke software services. They are seeking a Senior Backend API Developer to work with the Lead Systems Architect to deliver new functionality to their world-leading platform.Working with the Lead Systems Architect, you will be responsible for writing technical requirements from a non-technical brief, investigating and interrogating the externalAPIs and then working with the Product Director & Front- end designers to build an interface between the two systems. Also, you will help guide and mentor other developers driving best in class engineering standards. Here, an adhocracy culture is followed which revolves around innovation, success and flexibility. Professional opinions are heard, not shut down. You will join a small but close-knit team of 13, who all work remotely but communicate constantly. Requirements

API Development using Django rest frameworkExperience building and maintaining high-throughput API servicesMicroservices / Service DiscoveryExcellent TDD mindset (pytest / bdd / selenium / containerization)Django / CeleryAsyncIODocker / AWS ECSAWS RDSBuilding and maintaining deployment pipelines (CI / CD / CircleCI)Experience or a solid understanding of how to scale up high traffic APIs
