North Northamptonshire is currently at the beginning of an exciting journey to Transforms its infrastructure and services for its citizens in county. As part of this , we are looking for an experienced Head of Infrastructure Operations to Join our growing Technology Digital and Data Service. This is the perfect time to join as we shape our digital Journey and strategy with our colleagues and partners to create brilliant and modernised services, platforms and infrastructure; and to make the best out of our investments in our technology and teams

The ideal candidate for the role will have be responsible for Shaping the Digital vision and strategy for North Northamptonshire, working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other senior leaders across the county. You will also be responsible for running all infrastructure services in the council, ensuring high levels of reliability, security and availability. This will include the infrastructure team and all related projects that arise from our transformation strategy for the council. You will also need to be familiar with working on large transformational projects, showing a deep technical understanding of network, server technology and cloud computing, in order to assist with the design and implementation of our Technology roadmap , while ensuring that we have adequate disaster recovery procedures in place to fall back on, in the event of an outage.
