Full Stack Developer Oxford to £75k

Full Stack Developer / Engineer (JavaScript / TypeScript React Java) *Remote Interview WfH*. Would you like to work on intellectually and technically challenging projects within an R&D type environment that encourages knowledge sharing, continual learning and close collaboration?

You could be progressing your career at a growing Oxford based scientific software house.

As a Full Stack Developer you will design and develop core components of their flagship product used by the energy sector to discover and model fluid dynamics (e.g. oil reservoirs). You'll work across the full tech stack with a focus on JavaScript and React with Java on the backend. Collaborating with Product Managers you'll be able to contribute to product design discussions / decisions; you'll be problem solving and participating in peer code reviews as well as investigating and recommending new technologies.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the Oxford office for 2-3 days a week (parking available).

Requirements:

You're degree educated having achieved a 2.1 or above, ideally in Computer Science, from a top tier university

You have strong JavaScript and / or TypeScript experience

You have a good knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React

You have experience with an OO language, Java preferred although C++ or C# also considered

You enjoy collaboratively problem solving, ae naturally inquisitive and keen to learn
