We are searching for an experienced and professional IT Project Manager for a very exciting and growing company based in Devon.The role may require occasional travel between offices and client sites, but the majority of your time will be spent working from home or at the office which is located in Exeter.

It is anticipated that a hybrid approach to office and working from home will be adopted in the future, post the pandemic.

The OpportunityWorking as a dedicated IT Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering the key elements of a geospatial data migration service, assisting in the contract management and governance requirements. This will include, but is not limited to, taking responsibility for management information, delivering activity reports and participating, with the Programme Manager and Senior Managers, in internal and external progress meetings, with and without the customer.The role will be accountable for certain key elements of the design, build and implementation of a data migration service, the management of various elements of the development programme, and ensuring the projects are delivered against objectives and timescales. You will be managing key allocated internal and external workstreams, from requirements capture, service development, through to final delivery. You will provide project management support for the project teams within the programme, and you will manage the detailed tasks as allocated in the project plan.At times you may be required to deputise for the Programme Manager, and you will then be required to manage a small core team via a RACI matrix. No direct line management of internal resources is currently defined within the scope of this role, but management of external resources will be part of your overall responsibilities.The role will also be assisting with key tasks for the operational business relationship with one or more 3rd party suppliers by managing the agreed contractual service deliverables and assessing, analysing, developing, documenting and implementing these requests, using delivery teams made up from both internal and external resources as and when required.
