Telford (some UK Travel)

£25,000 - £28,500 + Training + 4 Weeks Holiday (plus bank Holidays) + Pension + Use of Pool Vehicle

Excellent opportunity for a seasoned 1st Line Support Specialist to join a global and renowned manufacturer who are leaders in the automated machinery space.

This secure and growing company have been in operation for 60 years, they create their own bespoke software systems and applications. Due to expansion they're looking for a software application support specialist to join their tight knit software team.

In this role you will provide 1st line support, dealing with inquiries over the phone or traveling to customer sites to deliver software services and integrate bespoke software across a variety of automated production machinery. You will train Clients and non-technical people to use the unique software systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in a 1st line support position with an understanding of Linux, SQL and Windows. Experience in the automation or manufacturing sector would be preferred.

The Role:

*Integrating software across ERP Systems

*Providing Technical Support over the phone

*Travel to Client site (when required - usually 1-2 times a month)

*Access to Company Car, Laptop, Access Company Card, Daily Allowance for over night stays

The Person:

*MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRVING LICENCE

*Experience in 1st Line Support

*Knowledge of Linux, Windows, SQL,

*Any experience or knowledge of Oracle or Postgres is beneficial but not required
