Gafoor is a key player in their sector operating on a national basis, supplying poultry products to leading blue chip manufacturers.If you are seeking the chance to join a well-established company who will offer you a rewarding career, then send your CV in for immediate consideration.About the roleThe role will encompasses IT infrastructure, IT support, software development and IT Installation. The successful candidate will be the point of contact for all I.T and communications systems onsite.You will have a degree in a computer science related discipline although candidates without a degree will be considered on merit but will require at least five years' experience in a related role. All candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and must currently be eligible to work in the United Kingdom. No sponsorship opportunities are available for this role.The role is predominantly Monday to Friday but some flexibility is required from time to time when infrastructure projects and upgrades are required at the weekend to avoid any 'down time' during normal operations. Key duties:Networking - Routers/Switches/Firewalls installation, operation and troubleshootingDesign, configuration and installation of IT solutionsAssisting co-workers with everyday IT support and in-house trainingSetting up new users and management of security, passwords,Server and backup systemsAssisting with the general maintenance and upgrading of the core I.T infrastructureAssist with the delivery of internal IT projectsDisaster recovery planning and testingWorkstation/server OS buildsT and communication system contracts and licencesGDPR systems and electronic compliance including ad hoc monitoring and CCTV systemsAbout you:TechnicalHands on experience of installing IT hardware and softwareMS Client and Server Operating SystemsEthernet, TCP/IPVLANS, Wireless Access points, Fibre Network, VoIP, VPNs, Firewall SystemsExperience specifying, commissioning and fault findingExperience of working with internal departments to schedule work and possible down time to minimise disruption to the operationPerson:A can do attitude, with the ability to offer up to date and innovative ideasExcellent communication skillsAn ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a teamA desire to engage with internal stakeholders and improve users knowledge of I.T systems and protocolsAnalytical problem solving skillsPlease click the APPLY button to send your CV for this role.Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Senior IT Engineer IT Infrastructure Manager, Service Delivery Manager, IT Network Manager, IT Team Leader, ICT Manager, IT Project, Implementation Manager, Transformation Manager, IT Project Manager may also be considered for this role.
