Job title - Information Risk Officer Location - London Rate - £500/day via PAYE or £641.60 Umbrella Start date - ASAPContract - Until 31st Dec 2021 Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Information Risk Officer to join their Global Finance team in their London office/remote working, this contract will be until the end of 2021. The role holder will support, oversee and minimise Information Risks across Finance globally. This role is responsible for the project management, co-ordination and general delivery across key data privacy related programmes in addition to the maintenance of Finance's record of personal data processing across its inventory of systems. Key Accountabilities:Project management, co-ordination and delivery against data privacy related programme requirementsManagement and maintenance of Finance's Record of Processing, including its integration within a new platform.Stakeholder engagement across Finance and IT representatives globally.Provision of central guidance and communications as necessary. Support effective risk assessments and identify potential issues and improvements.Support and partner well with colleagues within the team and across other departments and within teamSupport and follow values.Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent risk in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technologyKeep abreast of industry-wide developments and assess how these may impact the internal control environment. Knowledge & Experience:Understanding of risk and control principles, data management, systems, banking and Finance.Project Management and Business Analyst experience.Ability to manage various and differing global requirements.Ability to understand and interpret legal and/ or regulatory requirements.Proven project and risk management capabilities with a focus on resolving complex problemsFluency with using Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Sharepoint tools.Effective stakeholder management across different teams and multi-cultural environmentsWell organised, autonomous and determinedCandidate would need excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and confidence to deal with senior staff to sell the benefits of operational risk and information risk management.
