Workday Solutions Analyst My client a leading Energy Supplier based in Sunbury requires a Workday Solutions Analyst @ £528 per day (inside IR35)
Role Synopsis: Services & Solutions is an internal global shared services organisation, responsible for delivering centralised and standardised HR services for my client from a number of geographical delivery centres as appropriate for the companies footprint.  Services & Solutions are the first point of contact for HR related matters; the team are policy and process experts, dedicated to delivering the best customer experience.  The purpose of this role is predominately to support the development of P&C (People and Culture) Workday Human Capital Management.  You will be at the heart of an evolving technical landscape, gaining experience of HR technologies and processes, seeing first-hand how they can release creativity.  It will be a fast-paced and challenging environment, with changing HR requirements, giving you insights and hands-on experience of cutting-edge functionality.   Key Accountabilities:  As an integral part of our solutions team the key accountabilities will be: Delivery of excellence across all aspects of service management, including: Carrying out incident and problem management for live production incidents Analyse support tickets and intercept / resolve process or technical queries that have been raised by the companies employees or third parties.  This will involve liaising with colleagues in Services to ensure that accurate diagnosis is carried out and that employees are kept up to date with the progress of their issue. Ensure that incident resolution takes place within agree service level agreements.  Where this is not possible incidents and issues should be escalated to the relevant parties so that the necessary actions can be undertaken. Safeguarding the integrity of our solutions and continuously striving to improve the way we operate: Maintain the solutions services catalogue and ensure that it is kept up to date Configure the companies People and Culture systems to meet simple, complicated, and complex business requirements whilst ensuring that all standards, frameworks, compliance regulations (e.g. SoX) and best practices are closely adhered to. Ensure that platform configuration is thoroughly tested prior to its release to stakeholders or to the production environments Ensure that we do not introduce system defects into our production environments and therefore avoiding production incidents Supporting with system patch activity and ensure that ongoing SaaS releases do not adversely affect the performance of our technical platforms Develop in line with the S+S release cycle and ensure that improvement opportunities are explored and raised so that processes can continue to be streamlined / improved Support the scrum master in delivering show and tell sessions Represent the Solution Pooling team in the sprint planning session and ensure that development items are correctly sized to avoid capacity issues within the team Identify areas for process and system improvement - ensure that technology is embraced at all point if the process to deliver the most cost-effective service for the company. Apply agile practices and principles to maximise business value and continuously improve the delivery of the right customer outcomes Managing stakeholders, nurturing teams, and developing enduring relationships: Act as the key point of contact for the Global Solution Owners and ensure that the relevant levels of quality are built into backlog so that the configuration analysts have accurate user stories to build from. Be the solution expert and provide technical support to the Global Solution Owners to ensure that P&C stakeholder expectations are suitably manage Help grow team capability and ensure that the team continues to be successful by upskilling other team members   Essential Education: Degree level education or equivalent   Essential Experience and Job Requirements: Actively working to develop capability in line with the HR Capability Framework, with an equal blend of EQ, IQ and drive. Technical Capability Knowledge and experience configuring multiple Workday domains with a preference towards HCM, Compensation, Benefits & Security Knowledge and experience using Workday's mass data tool : EIBs. A good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office products is expected Problem solving skills demonstrated through experience Numeracy & analytical thinking - able to quickly and effectively analyse data to provide business insights.   Business Capability Proven ability to engage with stakeholders across business and technology domains Keen to learn new technical product areas and explore different areas of the P&C technical platform landscape The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leadership & EQ Capability Experience leading a Workday domain area, setting goals, guiding development, and coaching team during each and every sprint. Acts with integrity - demonstrating the companies values and behaviours. Desirable Criteria: Experience in a similar role working for a large-scale and complex organisation Significant knowledge of analyst frameworks, business processes and business requirements methodologies
