Provide assistance and security input into internal and external information security investigations, audits and testing as requiredAnalyse cyber security alarms generated by the SIEM system for possible or actual cyber breachesTriage and respond to security and compliance alarms as per the agreed Service Level AgreementCommunicate with clients to explain security incidents and to manage ongoing compliance issuesParticipate in internal team cyber testing and training sessionsAssist in the development and BAU activities of the information security risk management frameworkAssist at a project/implementation level on all aspects of the Security Improvement Plan including in-flight projectsAct as the responsible contact with the relevant authorities for Information Security and the responsibility for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability for ISO27001 for System and Infrastructure service provisionProfileSecurity Operations Engineer - Specialist Service Provider Personal Attributes & Experience: Effective client facing experience and skill requiredAbility to prepare documentation and contribute to knowledge baseOpen to working as part of the SOC 24/7 on-call teamExperience using tools including SolarWinds Nable, various SIEM and vulnerability management tools will be an advantageSome hands on experience using Tenable Nessus will be an advantageAbility to gather information, using this to solve problems and provide solutionsJob OfferSecurity Operations Engineer - Specialist Service ProviderManchesterOffering a competitive salary depending on experience
