Leading with strategy, architecture and design, we connect cloud, data, and cyber to engineer and deliver large-scale, complex transformations across public and private sectors.The role: This role will give you access to work in a fast paced industry, assisting the organization in meeting its cybersecurity goals.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Define the security architecture for high-profile, public facing, government digital servicesDefine the security strategy, enterprise architecture and roadmap for large complex programmes of workReview and thoroughly understand applications and systems from a security perspective, using your knowledge of NCSC best practice and control frameworks such as CISProvide risk and threat based advice and guidance on system designsDevelop excellent working relationships with key stakeholdersFacilitate the making of system-level security decisions, ensuring that they are made on the basis of the best information and are aligned with risk owner needsCapture and interpret input from technical and domain specialists (and represent this accurately to stakeholders as needed)Define and document strategies, standards and guidelines to direct the build and deployment of the systemEnsure that the architecture meets the service risk profile in line with agreed standards and policiesHelp ensure that agreed upon architectural principles and standards are applied to the finished system or productThe Candidate: Strong hands-on technical experience - preferably from systems engineering or Penetration TestingGood knowledge of cyber security standards and frameworksGood knowledge of market leading security technologies and solutionsGood understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and approachesGood knowledge of architecture, design patterns and UMLGood knowledge of IAAS, PAAS, SAAS and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and GCPKnowledge of common security integration techniques and approachesGood knowledge of non-functional requirements for designQuality Assurance skills to assess quality and completeness of a project deliveryKnowledge of both traditional and agile delivery methodsAbility to understand and challenge technical designs and configurationsAbility to work with engineering teams and software developersBenefits:Compensation package which is well above industry standardsCompany PensionLaptopCycle to work schemePrivate medical and dental insuranceGenerous holiday allowancePlease click the APPLY button and to submit your CV and Cover Letter.Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Security Architect, AWS Security Architect and Cyber Architect will also be considered.
