Job title: Supplier Quality ManagerLocation: Shannon, Co. ClareBenefits: Permanent position, Excellent salary, pension, healthcare and yearly bonus. Role:As a Supplier Quality Manager for my client you will be responsible for responsible for the management of all Supplier Assurance activities along with Logistics Quality activities related to Receiving & Goods Inwards processes at their Co.Clare facility. Responsibilities:Management of all Supplier Assurance activities to including establishment of audit schedule & auditing suppliers; supplier liaison & evaluation; Supplier Change notifications & Supplier Corrective ActionsManagement of incoming inspection activities and establishment of ship to stock programmePeople Management - development of team to include - Objective Setting and performance of 1 to 1 discussions and formal annual appraisalsDeveloping new technical staff on supplier quality initiatives and assisting understanding and rollout of quality initiatives across the companyBeen an expert in the area of US FDA and ISO13485 / IVDD/IVDR, CFDA, Health Canada, HPRA, JPAL and GMP requirements for IVD reagents, constantly promoting awareness of best industry practices and making appropriate decisions daily using the Operations Quality Manager as the final arbitrator on critical quality decisionsProviding meaningful Quality measurement while ensuring that in-house or external Quality issues are effectively prioritised and acted upon in a timely manner.Ensuring that all activities of the BCII Supplier and Logistics Quality are completed while complying with relevant procedures.Supporting DBS improvement initiatives, utilizing DBS tools including participation in Visual Daily Management, Problem Solving and Kaizen events to ensure quality, safety, productivity, on time delivery and supporting internal customers. Requirements:Bachelor' s Degree (Level 8) in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering or other relevant technical field with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a highly regulated (FDA desirable) healthcare or related environment & at least 2 years management experienceExperience leading & motivating teams Would you be interested in applying/ hearing more about this position?
