Job DescriptionI am working with a powerhouse in the technology consultancy space who are hiring for a senior position to sit in the Google Cloud team. This is a director position and requires extensive background in data & analytics as well as recent experience within Google cloud/GCP.

Role & ResponsibilitiesWear multiple hats as a Director of Technology, Principal Technology Consultant and Engagement Lead working with the delivery teams in large scale complex programmesLead Data Analytics and GCP initiatives whilst produce relevant deliverablesDrive Data Analytics and GCP offering and go-to market strategy in Western EuropeLead technology consulting, architecture engagements and major transformation through execution phases and where applicable, drive internal, client and third-party vendor mixed teamsStay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects clients' business and initiativesUndertake service design and continuously improve our methodology and consulting offeringEngage customer organizations at the executive / C-level, helping customers drive enterprise-wide agendaBuild and lead the team of tech consultants serving your target industriesLead relevant initiatives and producing deliverablesStay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects clients' business and initiativesServe as the engagement lead, working directly with client product, marketing, and/or IT teams to position the engagement for successUnderstand the intersection between technology, customers, and businessResponsible for shaping Data/GCP solutions and properly scoping / pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phaseUnderstand the full end-end product cycle, from product vision/strategy, user experience design through development and releaseWork closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery modelLead Practice development, driving and orchestrating transformation and product solutions, teams, strategic roadmaps, and continuous improvement/optimization programsEnsure projects are delivered within the agreed schedule and budget while ensuring qualityDeliver clear and consistent communications within projects and across stakeholders of all levelsLead meetings, design activities, review sessions and retrospectivesEstablish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolioDevelop effective relationships with key internal executives, BU heads, Account Managers, Solution SME's, Sales and Delivery LeadersDrive revenue within the client / account portfolio by identifying opportunities and influence / sell-in servicesSupport sales / pre-sales activities by assessing Data and GCP opportunities, responding to RFP's, creating proposals and presentations, establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close / sign new deals
