Your role will have direct impact on Unilever's purpose: to make sustainable living commonplace.DescriptionAbout Your Role and key areas of focus:Support a multi-million euro programme to deliver an Enterprise Data Lake programme for Unilever, with full responsibility to define and plan the cross functional delivery.Build relationships with senior stakeholders, to understand business needs to democratise data to improve Unilever's performance globally.Foster the creation of the data lake business cases, ensuring all necessary governance approvals in place.Craft the cross functional data lake roadmap, engaging functions, products, and markets to ensure alignment of data lake against business priorities.Facilititate project prioritisation, and resolve delivery concerns by ensuring people and technology are leveraged effectively.Support a team of data managers, experts, and analysts both internal and third parties working across functional projects and programsInstruct the Data COE team's interactions across Unilever to transform Unilever into a data driven business.Coach and support members of the team to reach their potential and develop their skillsBuild and communicate our thoughts around data lake in support of the overall Data CoE visionDesign, develop and lead the Data COE capability plan, including skills, career paths and training, in partnership with HRProfileAbout You:The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded commercial and analytics professional. They will have a good knowledge of operations and value chain in a consumer goods company, that is complemented by working knowledge of data management, data strategy or business information intelligence, and emerging technologies required to deliver a world class data service.Additional desirable experience:Demonstrated data design and/or information design experience, in a productionised environmentExperience in driving business value realisation from data and business intelligence preferredStrong track record of working with senior business leadership (VPs+) to drive definition, alignment, and support for application of data driven analytics to address complex business questionsAbility to prioritise and manage multiple requests simultaneously in a competitive marketSolid experience in leading and developing high performing teamsSolid understanding of data quality, security, privacy and how data is used for decision making Job OfferRewards and benefits are just one part of the reason Unilever is a great place to work.
