Working in a small team the role is to support the current environment and project work to deliver change to that environment to as needed. As well as working with the my clients team the role will also involve working with the third parties that are contracted to provide IT service.General IT engineering skills will be required but in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 as well as Microsoft hosting and authorisation technologiesClient DetailsMy client is the UK's development finance institution. Your day to day will involve the following;Support user requests for assistance with advanced features of the Office365 suiteRespond to incidents and problems raised via the service deskSupport BAU and project activities relating to change of my clients IT infrastructureProfileAs an experienced Infrastructure engineer and previous experience of working in a ITIL based engineering and security functions you must also have experience with the following;Managing, troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft server and desktop technologiesImplementing and configuring advanced features of office365Supporting legacy Microsoft applications and add-ons such as Livetiles for sharepoint As well as a strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude you will show:A proactive, analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.Ability to organise themselves and othersAttention to detailAbility to work under pressure with demanding timescalesStrong communication skills with customers (internal and external)Ability to collaborate and work closely with team members Job OfferAn initial 6 month contract ( Inside IR35) with possible extensions.Daily rate is between £400-£450 per day.Flexible working has been agreed although you may need to attend the offices located in Central London from time to time. Interviews are being held early next week with a view to start this position week commencing 12th July 2021.
