Scrum Master ****Outside IR35****

Co-ordinate and track the activities of the team, using an agile Kanban based approach and assist the team in overcoming blockers to progress.

In general, the Scrum Master will guide and direct the team to follow agile best practices including:

*Create a product increment using agile practices, like:

oContinuous Integration

oAcceptance Test Driven Development

oTest Driven Development

oBuild Automation

oRe-factoring

oCoding Standards

*Define the Sprint Goal

*Plan the Sprint for the highest prioritized Product Backlog Items, resulting in a Sprint Backlog

*Update the Risk Backlog

*Create, maintaining and improving the development environment (incl. test-environment, build environment, collaboration environment, etc)

*Estimating open Product Backlog Items for the candidate of the next sprints

*Perform Daily Scrums

*Supporting the Product Owner to maintain and update the Product Backlog by analysing and breaking-down Product Backlog Items as well as suggesting re-factoring and other improvements to the Product Owner

*Presenting the results of the Sprint, in particular the Potentially Shippable Product Increment

*Performing Sprint Retrospectives
