A Senior Manager - Embedded Software is sought by this leading developer of wireless communication and global positioning systems to be based at their new R+D Centre in Hannover. The Senior Manager - Embedded Software will be responsible for building and managing a team of talented Embedded Software Engineers including coaching in technical areas (navigation and / or automotive). The Senior Manager - Embedded Software will also be responsible for shaping the functional safety-compliant software development lifecycle and for ensuring adherence of software to safety-compliant development standards. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience coaching and leading teams of Embedded Software Engineers plus a background of hands on embedded software development. You will have a deep knowledge of C and C++ programming and have some experience developing embedded software for the automotive market or GNSS Navigation applications. Any knowledge of Autosar (Adaptive), ISO26262 or Agile Work Management is also a benefit.
