West Yorkshire Pension Fund
West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for over 400 employers based throughout the UK. The Fund has nearly 400,000 members and is valued over £15bn. In addition we have a shared service partnership with Lincolnshire Pension Fund, the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Barnet and a number of Fire Authorities for the administration of the Firefighters Pension Schemes.

As part of a recruitment campaign we have a number of new and vacant posts. Currently we are recruiting for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us in the following key roles:
PO4/PO5 £38,890 pa - £44,863 pa
1 x 37 hours per week
Based at Aldermanbury House, Bradford City Centre
The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.
The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile which is shown in this advert outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate. Therefore, it is essential that you provide examples in your application.
You will be a solid all round Programme Manager with experience of working on different IT projects and be able to manage conflicting priorities.
You will lead multi-disciplinary project teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to deliver a range of complex and high profile projects.
Manage a range of ICT projects including (but not limited to) onboarding of new clients, system upgrades, database upgrades, infrastructure refresh, major development projects, essential annual tasks and implementation of new technologies.
You will work closely with stakeholders ensuring expectations are managed effectively and communication is timely, effective and informative.
You will have:
5 years experience of successfully performing in a similar role of which 2 years is at a senior level.
Proven contract and Project Management skills, and knowledge of a variety of techniques and good practice
Experience of applying a wide range of complex procedures to deliver medium/high profile projects, including financial systems and procedures.
Holds a Degree in a relevant field, or relevant demonstrable practical experience and
Relevant Professional Qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2 Practitioner, RICS, ICE, IHT, APM, CIOB)
