Lloyds Banking Group and Commercial Business Banking Transformation (CBBT)?

Lloyds Banking Group is one of the UK's largest banks and is on a mission to build the bank of the future, and we need help to do it.

Continuing our extensive transformation programme, we're redefining what a bank needs to be from the inside out. Our technology, our culture and our mind-set are changing, all to show what an engineering-led organisation can do.

CBBT unlocks potential to help business to recover and prosper in a digital world. Our team partners the divisional business areas to drive the transformation for our future success as we continue to strive to be the Best Bank for Business.

Supported by the CBBT Operations team, where this role sits, our three Value Streams: Origination, Servicing and Markets are the pillars by which we organise our collaboration with Commercial, Retail, Treasury and Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets. Our COVID Recovery team has been set up, at pace, to help businesses to recover and thrive.

What will the role entail?

A fast-paced, agile environment, working closely with the team to drive efficiency and effectiveness. The focus of this role is the financial management, forecasting, investment spend and cost management processes. You would also be involved in risk management, governance, resource planning, compliance and recruitment. We take a partnership approach to our relationships with the teams we support and would like you to use your personal insight to drive focus on the areas that matter the most.

Engaging and networking with senior leaders within CBBT you will support with future ways of working and proposed strategies, finding opportunities and taking control for resolving problems.

You would be involved in encouraging and mentoring more junior colleagues, plus potentially line or task management responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity, which will enable you to thrive in a supportive, diverse & dynamic team with prospects to really develop your capabilities and career.

This role would be great if you:

Enjoy working in a truly diverse and passionate team.

Enjoy trying out new things in a supportive environment.

Don't ever want to be bored!

What do we need to see from applicants?

We value diversity and inclusivity in our teams and are keen to see applications from a variety of backgrounds and previous experience. We are looking for people who can demonstrate some or all of the following:

A prior background working in a similar role, for example as operations management, project management office, business management or possibly a financial analyst.

Previous experience of financial management, forecasting, investment spend and cost management processes.

Risk management, governance, resource management, recruitment and reporting.

Excellent communications skills both written and verbal with the ability to engage a wide range of partners.

We also love to see a passion for continuously improving.

We work as a Team of Teams which enables us to work well together in response to changing demand as well as creating opportunities for stretch, development and career progression.

What do I get in return?

As a new colleague to the team, you'll join us on our journey to build a 21st century bank that reflects modern Britain and craft an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel encouraged and valued.

We're committed to building a workforce which reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve, and to building an inclusive environment where all our colleagues can be themselves and succeed on merit. We support the principles of agile working and equal opportunity and are happy to consider flexible working arrangements.

The sheer size and scale of Lloyds as a company generates many opportunities.

Together we'll make it possible!
