My Telecoms client is looking for a Finance Manager to support the Group Consolidation and Statutory reporting teams.

This is for an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend.

You will be supporting the Group Consolidation and Statutory reporting teams managing aspects of the month end reporting in SAP S/4 HANA/BPC and all the Data related aspects during the transition phase, moving from Oracle (GCS) and S/4 HANA to SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)

You will be working closely with MFB Data Leads and team to ensure that all the Data between GCS and BPC and between S/4 HANA and BPC are analysed, reviewed and reconciled on a monthly basis. Strong Data manipulation skills using Excel are required as part of this role. Excel is used extensively, therefore you will have the opportunity to develop your current skills further (pivot tables, vlookups, macro).

You will use your knowledge of consolidation accounting to develop and tailor reports from SAP to ensure they meet reporting requirements.

This will include reviewing the automated consolidation functionality in BPC to ensure the output is in line with expectations.

You will be collaborating with different key stakeholders in defining the appropriate month end and data reconciliation process and ensuring that the Data aspects of the Finance Transformation Programme are successful.

The successful candidate will be:

*Processing month end reporting in SAP from November onwards

*Leading the general ledger data reconciliations on a monthly basis (GCS to BPC and S/4 HANA to BPC)

*Identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with Consolidation and MFB data teams

*Reviewing and clear defects of BPC reports to ensure reporting requirements are met

*Leading the month end process in BPC during April 2021 while the core Consolidation team is delivering the year end annual reporting.

Skills Required for the Job:

*Experience of working in a high volume transactional environment

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*Demonstrate aptitude and desire to change initiatives

*Experience of applying IFRS, mainly on IFRS3, IAS7

*Experience in consolidation systems (Oracle, SAP BPC)

*High level of attention to detail

*Proficient in Advanced Excel

Expected Experience:

MANDATORY

*Over 2 years post qualification

*Experience of working in a group consolidation team/Complex Group consolidations

*Experience in handling complex data reconciliations and large volume of financial data, ideally SAP

PREFERRED

*Finance change experience (systems and process), Operating model, Enterprise scale, ideally SAP/HANA

*External reporting experience
