9 month fixed term contract

c. £80k base + 26 days holiday, 10% non-contributory pension + more

Our client is a global investment and wealth management business with a portfolio in excess of £100 billion and c. 1 million customers. As a highly established recruitment partner for IT / tech personnel we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Programme Manager to join the growing team for a period of 9 months initially. This role would normally be based out of Southampton. Candidates needing 100% home working post covid may be considered. There may be a need to visit Southampton 1-2 days per week post covid (yet to be confirmed).

The successful Programme Manager will have experience of large scale transformational or complex business and IT change programmes and will have a solid financial services sector background.

Key skills

*Solid experience as a Programme Manager within the financial services sector

Experience of finance processes - general ledger accounting, consolidation, allocations, reporting, accounts payable ideally

*Experience in finance applications is desirable - General Ledgers for example JDE, Workday, Sage, Sun, SAP and consolidation/ reporting tools

*Good knowledge of different project and programme delivery methodologies

*IT Software Development Lifecycle experience and associated methodologies

Base salary c. £80k + you will be entitled to 26 days holiday (pro rata), enrolment into the company's incentive scheme, a 10% non-contributory company pension scheme that can be boosted through personal contributions, and a cash benefits allowance.
