Network Design Engineer

Newcastle under Lyme

£400-£500 p/d - Outside IR35

4 Months (possibility to go permanent)

Starting End of August

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a new and emerging company for an experienced Network Design Engineer. This company works within both the private and public sector on telecom infrastructure delivering high quality work and a bespoke service to companies throughout the UK backed by over 20 years of global experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating designs as part of site builds and Network Design Packs for project teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technology layers for access and core networks (fibre, DWDM, PON, Ethernet, IP, MPLS, Wi-Fi), service layers including internet access, voice, VPNs.

Experience in network architecture, design and test with a proven track record in delivery environments.

The Role:creating designs as part of site buildsDesigning Network Design Packs for project teamsWorking in an Office Environment (potential remote working)

The Person:Good working knowledge of Microsoft application including Office 365Adept in Visio and AutoCADJuniper IP experienceNokia optics experience DWDMDegree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, and other related fields
