Global Retail & Innovation company require a Business Intelligence Manager to work with their Global Finance team to deliver reporting and analysis of commercial performance across the group, both financial and non-financial. The role of Business Intelligence Manager will manage a team of BI & Data Analysts to support the Finance Analytics team to produce insightful analytics for global stakeholders across group, categories, markets as well as within Finance and Commercial. Naturally inquisitive and ideally with a good understanding of finance / commercial environments, you will enjoy working with data to uncover insights and patterns through the solutions you develop. Reporting to the Head of BI & Analytics, you will be responsible for: Delivering the Business Intelligence roadmapLine managing a team of BI and Data AnalystsEnsuring the team are gathering good quality user stories and that requirements are being managed in an agile wayDesigning and documenting efficient solutions with target architecture in mindWorking with the internal data services function to deliver new or enhanced data sourcesCollaborating with analytics teams across the business to deliver mutually beneficial products whether this is data or analyticsEnsuring content meets quality standards; bringing a passion for data visualisationChampioning the use of data and analytics, driving adoption and growth in the user baseEnsuring maintenance of functional and technical documentationMentoring and developing the teamAt times getting hands on with developing data solutions or visualisations yourselfBusiness partnering with stakeholder groups to continuously improve the analytics portfolio they use to drive decision makingChampion the use of data and analytics, driving adoption and growth in the user base.About you: Experience leading a teamStrong delivery skills, managing the delivery of a roadmap using tools like JIRAExtremely organised, delivery focused and deadline drivenDemonstrated success of project delivery / business change within Business IntelligenceDetermined to identify solutions and be prepared to overcome obstacles to follow through plans to completionAbility to communicate complex ideas simplyComfortable with solution design and identifying solutions to data problemsGood commercial awareness.
