Backend Software Engineer London / WfH to £65k

Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Java Python Golang AWS) *Remote / WfH*. Are you a skilled backend technologist seeking a role where you can work on complex and interesting systems, continually learning and progressing your career?

You could be joining a sports tech software house that provide a complex data analytics product used by sports teams across a range of disciplines to deliver live data analysis and predictions, pre-event planning and post event review.

Joining a supportive Agile development team as a Backend Software Engineer you will help build the future of the company's cloud application suite. You'll build new products and extend existing ones by adding new features; design, implement and deploy cloud based services (AWS); on a typical day you could be writing Golang code (you don't need commercial Golang but must be keen to learn and work with it going forward), helping the team to respond to live incidents and deploying changes to different environments. You'll be collaboratively problem solving as an integral part of an Agile team where you can have a great deal of input.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; following social distancing you could stay working from home or join colleagues in the London office for part of the week or every now and again.

Requirements:

You have strong backend software engineering experience likely to be with C++, Java, Python or Golang (you don't need commercial Golang but must be keen to learn and work with it going forward)

You have a good knowledge of AWS

You have experience of developing, running and supporting containerised applications

You're collaborative, keen to learn and share ideas
