We implemented MS Dynamics D365 in 2018 and it's a crucial part of our strategy to overhaul our financial back office, identifying opportunities for enhancing its build through both technology and architecture.Client DetailsFantastic Innovative Tech Client DescriptionMaintaining our D365 system supporting its continuing build and integration, and supporting Finance in understanding the challenges they face and solving themWorking closely with the database and infrastructure teams, and the data management function to ensure the data loading/exporting and the stability of the systemEvangelising D365 within Finance and the wider business. Assist in the training of a network of super users and trouble shooters to support users, and help create formal training for staff; acting as the first point of call for any finance systems related queriesSupport the delivery of system upgrades, good knowledge of the evergreen Microsoft approach and able to provide constructive feedbackBuilding reports with Financial Reporter and Power BI running rolling period/year-end closes & FX maintenanceMaintenance for all other finance systems including the maintenance of CODA and CEGID for record access, Concur, V1 invoice scanning, Dovico and various banking softwareFacilitating and testing any new Microsoft updates to ensure that the business is not adversely impacted ProfileWe're looking for some experience of MS D365 to achieve our ambitious plans but will consider someone with MX AX2012; and knowledge of PowerBI and Financial Reporter will strengthen your position within this dynamic team.You will be working within a fast moving, growth environment so your ability to work at pace with real energy is critical.Combined with your proactive approach, you'll be passionate about process improvement to take D365 in particular to the next level.Holding a professional accounting qualification would be useful although this is not essential but you will have had some finance exposure.The ability to digest technical terminology and communicate to a non-technical audience.You'll bring a real appetite and curiosity for detail, and a proactive approach to 'go find', identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and developing enhanced internal controls.Further, as a competent administrator, you'll be super organised with a keen eye for detail.Good communication skills are vital in this role and an ability to constructively challenge how and why things are done will be critical for your success.Job OfferFantastic opportunity to work for an innovative tech company in the heart of Edinburgh with a competitive salary.
