Mobile Software Engineer / Android Developer Remote / WfH to £75k

Mobile Software Engineer / Android Developer (Flutter). Do you enjoy breaking things to see how they work and putting them back together again?

Start-up IoT company is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer with an "engineering mindset" to join a small technology team as the sole Android Developer.

You will take ownership of the Android platform working in conjunction with an iOS Engineer as well as the wider engineering team; most of the work is Greenfield development so you'll be expected to create things from scratch, pro-actively seek improvements and use modern technologies to deliver a best of breed app that will allow the user to control their IoT device.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime; with the caveat that you'll meet with the team occasionally in or around Cambridge / London.

Requirements:

You have strong mobile engineering experience with Android and Flutter

You're able to architect and design apps from scratch

You enjoy collaborative problem solving, are inquisitive, pro-active about seeking improvements and not afraid to question
