Security and Infrastructure Engineer - circa 36K

We are looking for a Security and Infrastructure Engineer, to join an established IT team of 12, to take ownership of the operational and developmental aspects of the security solutions, processes, and policies.

You will be responsible for performing IT health checks and intrusion detection, analyse the results of the IT health checks and coordinating with all other IT staff the resolution processes of security vulnerabilities detected.

Key skills (not all essential): Windows server, PSN, PCIDSS, CESG, Networking, Windows Operating systems, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Anti-Virus, Network Security products and methodologies

As the successful Security and Infrastructure Engineer, you will be involved in project evaluation and management for all new system developments for user departments with regards to security, ensuring that the network is secure throughout the complete ICT installation, from individual units throughout the network and firewall to the remote connections.

We are offering a varied role, whereby you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and optimising network and server security hardware and software, whilst continually reviewing system logs, identifying, and investigating any identified security risks.

Salary: circa 36K

Excellent benefits: 29 days, Flexi Policy - 2 days can be taken per calendar month Employer Pension Contribution - 19.4% Working Pattern.
