Our client is a global medical device and diagnostics manufacturer. A fast growing company that drives innovation in diagnostics to create better outcomes for patients.Reporting to the Head of Quality the Reliability Manager will develop and implement the strategy and processes used to perform reliability and life cycle testing of the product line.The Reliability Manager will evaluate data, areas and subcomponents that show potential signs of failure prior to the desired life of the product, determine root causes and work with Research & Development (R&D) and Product Management on corrective actions.In addition, you will influence new product development with your findings.Role:Set up a Reliability lab from scratchAnalyse failures, develop protocols to identify root causes, and establish testing to predict mean time to failure of instruments and key subcomponentsUtilise complaint data to confirm accuracy of the predicted mean time to failureWork with Quality, R&D and Product management to resolve reliability issues and monitor resulting corrective actionConduct statistical analysis to interrogate reliability dataEnsure standard deviations are identified and monitoredRequirements/Qualifications: Ideally degree level education or equivalent practical experienceProduct reliability or product testing with some management experience preferred (although this can be flexible)Knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with medical device products would be an advantage - although experience in other regulated industries considered e.g. pharma, aerospace or automotive etc. To find out more about Real please visit www.realstaffing.comReal Staffing, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy| Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
