The SAP systems support analyst is responsible for providing system administration services and 1st line support to users of the BPC consolidation module and BPC revenue recognition module across the business.
This individual will be a key player in the Finance Systems Support team, providing operational support (including report development) and administering the BPC environment for Financial Consolidation and Revenue Recognition. Client DetailsLarge professional services organisations.DescriptionAs SAP systems support analyst you will:Be a consistent and approachable point of contact for BPC users1st Line Business-facing functional support of the BPC consolidation & revenue recognition modules, including troubleshooting and issue resolutionEngage with 2nd and 3rd line support teams to ensure timely resolution of end user issuesPerform BAU system administration and configuration activities in line with agreed timelinesChallenge, prioritise and action change requestsMaintain change log and progress system enhancements into current environmentDevelopment of training materials and provision of trainingOnboarding of new users and contract data migration / set-upOwnership and maintenance of relevant documentationEnsure all changes, data mapping and translation between source systems and BPC are processed correctlyEnsure that system permissions are in line with delegated authorities and approvals from the businessesEnsure compliance with audit and security reviewsEnsure data integrity and consistency across multiple reportsProvide extended support during critical reporting periods such as Year-End and Half-Year Group Finance reportingProfileYou will have:Experience administering and supporting SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) experience in the consolidation module is essentialExperience of developing reports in BPC to meet end user requirementsExperience of acquiring and transforming data from Finance ERP systemsExperience with current SAP reporting and analytics tools (such as SAC and BW) is desirableExposure to maintaining cross platform interfaces is desirablePositive and professional demeanour, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively across functions and all levels of management'Can do' attitude, proactive approach and comfortable in offering pragmatic solutions to changing requirementsJob OfferSalary up to £65,000+benefits
