As a Data Quality Analyst - SQL you will play a pivotal role in establishing the quality of data coming in from various sources. You will be the critical analyst that will confirm the validity of the data before it is sent to various data teams within the business. This role will require strong attention to detail and the ability to engage with various stakeholders in the UK and throughout Europe. A background in FS would be highly desirable.Client DetailsMy client is a City of London based Financial Services provider specialising in Insurance data.DescriptionMy client - a City of London based Financial Services client is looking for a Data Quality Analyst - SQL to engage in the following:Drive improvements in data quality by developing and monitoring data quality metrics, through analysis of Corporation and Market dataEnsure continuous improvement of quality and validity of data received, through implementation of data quality dashboardsMonitor performance of data and identify quality issues and opportunities for remediation and enhancementManage data sets, troubleshoot data issues, identify patterns and correlations among the various data sourcesAssist in initiatives to improve levels of data quality and integrity throughout the organisation, working closely with the Data Quality ManagerFollow data quality framework and processes to ensure the accuracy of data and recording of data quality checksContribute to the implementation of new technologies and strategies that will support the organisation to achieve its longer-term ambitionsDevelop strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders to ensure data quality is central to their processes and a key consideration in their decision makingIncrease the awareness and promote data quality across the corporation and market.ProfileTo be considered for the Data Quality Analyst - SQL role at my client's site in the City of London, the candidate must present evidence of the following:Strong SQL skillsStakeholder management skills (ideally liaising with stakeholders on a European scale)An understanding of the Financial Services landscape (preferably Insurance markets)A genuine interest in data processes and qualityKeen attention to detail, an ability to identify outliers in 1000s of rows of dataJob OfferMinimum 6-month FTC.Paying up to £45,000 (prorated) - dependent on experience.Company benefits including bonus, pension pay, private health etc.Flexibility to work remotely, the contract does require 1 day per fortnight in the office.
