QA Automation Test Engineer London to £45k

QA Automation Test Engineer (Python Unix Linux FIX Protocol Testing). Successful financial services company is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to join their small team. You will initially be the sole Automation tester within the company as the team are currently made up of Manual testers. However, the company is moving towards Automation and therefore you'll need to be comfortable mentoring and teaching your team in Automation testing.

As a QA Automation Test Engineer you'll ensure that the company's software releases, upgrades and bespoke projects are tested to a high standard, ensuring a high quality and reliable product is delivered. Other responsibilities include; designing automated test scripts and scenarios, analysing the application of testing methodologies and designing regression testing.

Based in London you'll join a friendly and professional team. The company are currently working from home, however when things return to normal you will be expected to work in the office 2 - 3 days a week.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a QA Automation Test Engineer with Python scripting skills

Experience testing complex and have an understanding of the full development lifecycle

Experience within Unix and Linux environments

Degree educated in Computer Science or similar

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: FIX Protocol
