Software/Applications Engineer

Liverpool (remote working to start)

£25,000 - £30,000

Excellent opportunity for an Applications Engineer to join a thriving Pharmaceutical solutions provider, in an interesting and varied role offering training and progression within tight knit and collaborative team environment.

This well established and global business specialise in Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical manufacturing and products. They are currently undergoing massive expansion across the company and are launching this role as the first position of its kind.

In this role you will work closely alongside the Director of Digital Technology & Systems to prepare software specifications, develop bespoke applications and maintain existing products to support the business in their growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with HTML and CSS, and have some experience creating applications with ASP or VBScript. You will have knowledge of SQL and the ability to debug and fix code.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop digital applications and systems, learn new skills and technologies work alongside experienced professionals on the full project life cycle in an interesting new role.

*Maintaining existing software products

*Developing bespoke software applications

*Testing applications and developing documentation

The Person:

*Experience with HTML and CSS

*Experience creating applications using server-side scripting (ASP/VBScript)

*Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
