Android Developer London to £110k 12 month FTC

Android Developer / Mobile Software Engineer (Android RxJava3 Kotlin). Would you like to be challenged; working on complex and interesting mobile trading systems? You could be joining a City based trading firm on a 12 month fixed term contract with full benefits (likely to extend to a permanent position).

As an Android Developer you will join an Agile team of mobile developers creating new Android features on a highly feature rich HTML5 / JavaScript / CSS real time trading platform front end for mobile devices. You'll work closely with the Design Team to review and feedback on designs as well as the Java Team to integrate with the backend trading systems.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join accomplished colleagues in the London City office with a range of first class facilities (and some continued flexibility).

Requirements:

Strong Android native app development experience, with examples of work on Google Play store

Kotlin and RxJava 2 or 3 experience

Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming and Design Patterns

Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills

Financial services / trading systems experience would be an advantage but not necessary

As an Android Developer / Mobile Software Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £110k on a 12 month Fixed Term contract) plus bonus and benefits (matched to a permanent employee).
