Senior Software Engineers - Linux / RTOS are sought by this very successful multi-national development organisation to be based at their European R+D Centre in Eindhoven. The Senior Software Engineers - Linux / RTOS will be responsible for producing very high quality software at all levels in the software stack under Linux and RTOS in C and C++. The Senior Software Engineers - Linux / RTOS will be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle from initial specification to customer delivery including working closely with customer engineering teams responsible for technically road-mapping future development projects. These opportunities will give the Senior Software Engineers - Linux / RTOS the opportunity to work in a variety of product development environments including medical devices, wireless devices, automotive and industrial IoT! You will have 3+ years post graduate hands-on software development experience and your skills should include in-depth Linux and RTOS knowledge (gained at embedded to UI level) coupled with C and C++ (exposure to other programming languages is a plus). You should have experience of the complete software development lifecycle and working closely with in house and customer engineering teams (at all levels). You will also need excellent written and spoken English skills and be able to display a real passion for developing software at all levels. These positions are urgent so you need to be able to freely travel to Eindhoven for interview and to start your employment. Candidates also need to be fully authorised to live and work in the EU.
