IT Support Engineer

We are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join us on a permanent, full time basis.
 
The Role
 
As an IT Support Engineer, you will:
 
- Provide technical assistance to clients via our helpdesk system
- Provide remote support via telephone and email
- Offer remote desktop support to clients
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support
- Occasionally attend client sites to resolve an issue
 
About You
 
To be considered as an IT Support Engineer, you will need:
 
- Solid experience with Microsoft Server and Hyper V
- Competency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office applications
- Networking fundamentals and experience with standard networking hardware
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory, Networks, Firewall, Routers, DNS and DHCP
- Microsoft Azure and Office 365 implementation and administration experience
- Experience with hosted Exchange / Office 365 Integrations and Migrations
- Experience of problem solving within a technical environment
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- An engaging personality with the ability to easily build relationships and instil confidence
 
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm.
 
Other organisations may call this role IT Support Technician, IT Support Engineer, IT Support Analyst, 1st Line Support Technician, 2nd Line Helpdesk Technician, or Support Desk Technician.
