Senior Microsoft Azure/.NET Developer

(Microsoft Cloud Native Engineer)

£65,000 - £90,000 DOE + Benefits

As a trusted recruitment partner to this well-known global consultancy, we are assisting in the hire of several Developers / SMEs to join them as 'Microsoft Cloud Native Engineers', working on the development of complex cloud native applications built on Azure using .NET and related technologies.

You will join a team of highly skilled developers and Azure engineers who specialise in agile custom software development and integration at an enterprise scale. As a team, you will deliver some of the most innovative software solutions available using MS Azure and .NET technologies.

Core Skills / Experience Required

oCloud Application Development / Engineering

oBuilding / Developing applications using Microsoft Azure

o.NET Development and related technologies (.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, etc.)

oDevOps - Experience of CI/CD

Useful Skills / Experience to Have

oMicroservice-based architectures (incl. DDD, CQRS and Event sourcing patterns)

oAzure DevOps

oSecurity Standards (OWASP, PCI, etc.)

oRelevant Azure or .NET Certifications

Our client is moving towards a more hybrid way of working and post-COVID you can expect a mix of both remote and office-based work on client sites. Offices are located across the UK, and you will be assigned the closest to your home - as with any consultancy, there may be occasions where travel is required (full expenses paid).

This position would be suitable for those who have held the following titles: Cloud Software Engineer, Cloud Developer, .NET Developer, Azure Developer, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Application Developer, Cloud Application Engineer, Microsoft Developer, Cloud Native Developer, Cloud Native Engineer.
