Please note internally this role is called a CRM Business Partner

A unique opportunity has arisen for a full time CRM Business Partner to support the overall delivery of the implementation and post-implementation of our new CRM. You will work alongside key stakeholder groups in SSAFA, the UK's oldest national tri-service military charity.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Last year our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 85,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families. SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. We are here for that person - any time they need us, in any way they need us, for as long as they need us.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to own and manage SSAFA's new database, Blackbaud CRM that will be used to support our fundraising strategy, enhance management of our volunteer network and inform on wider corporate marketing decisions.

You will assist the project team in the delivery of a best-in-class CRM system for Go Live in December 2021 and then assume responsibility for maintaining and developing the system; providing vital database management, assessment of current work processes and insights as to where the CRM can better support the charity's strategy.  This will involve continuous development of our subject matter experts, updating data management and security practices as well as supporting teams, in a number of functions, with adopting new processes and technological solutions to continually improve our charity's ability to support beneficiaries.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have extensive experience of end-to-end development and implementation of CRM products, ideally Blackbaud, delivering this on budget and on time. You'll also need to have strong stakeholder engagement skills with an appreciation of how to approach and influence stakeholders at varying degrees of seniority and knowledge.

You will have experience of customising and configuring CRM's and leading on developing insights for both supporter and volunteer acquisition, segmentation and engagement; and great analytical skills to identify and communicate risks and contingency plans.

You'll also have experience of training CRM users, creating and maintaining a suite of accessible and impactful resource guides.

SSAFA is an employer that values the diversity of its workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

No agencies please. Any unsolicited submissions from agencies will be accepted as a direct application from the candidate and no fees will be payable.
