Within CQC we are implementing a new strategy and transforming how we work so that we can keep pace with the changing health and care landscape and ensure people receive safe, effective care. Becoming an insight-driven organisation is a critical component of our new operating model.

The ambition of the Transforming Data and Insight programme is to create and mature a service-focused data and insight function. The programme will modernise the technology we use to manage and analyse data; formalise the governance, processes and ways of working around data; drive new data culture, behaviours and skills to enable us to maximise the use of data and insight in our regulatory activity.

We are seeking to appoint a Report Analyst to provide support and guidance to the CQC teams in their use of Power BI around best practice, as well as increasing awareness of visualisation best practice across the organisation.

The role holder will support the design, prototyping, delivery and maintenance of reports in Power BI and design, prototype, deliver and maintain data models alongside other data platform colleagues. The role will also support the production of data visualisations via Power BI visualisations which will often contain key companywide measures, metrics and KPIs.

What we're looking for from you...

The successful candidate will be aligned to a project on the data and reporting transformation programme which covers target operating model change and a full enterprise data, information and reporting tools, processes and methodologies overhaul alongside an extensive data migration programme.

Experience of working on transformation programmes involving any of these aspects is highly desirable.

Contract Type: Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 Months
