International Banking Group - 6 Month Contract

PAYE Umbrella: £450 + 17.3% PAYE Uplift

Currently Home Working, Later Central London

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Windows Server SME to manage, maintain and enhance Microsoft Windows Server-related technologies across the estate.

You will be part of a team providing 24/7 platform support internationally and will implement automated solutions adhering to the strategic goals within the dept.

Technical Environment (A Mix of the Below Tech Required)

*Windows Server 2k8 / 2k12 / 2k16 / 2k19 related technologies

*PowerShell

*CI/CD pipelines and other automation concepts

*DevOps mentality

*Git or other source code control software

*Security hardening principles in line with CIS industry benchmarks.

*Excellent knowledge of networking, storage, database and virtualization layers.

*Clustering and high-availability technologies

*Replication and disaster recovery.

*Security and auditing.

*Excellent knowledge of data security governance and regulations such as GDPR and SOX.

*TCP/IP Networking Protocols.

*Other scripting languages (batch, VBS, VBA & Python nice to haves).

*Ansible

*AWX / Ansible Tower

*REST API integration

*Service Now automation /integration

*Good working knowledge of GitHub, Subversion and TeamCity / similar tools

*CyberArk

*Splunk and QRadar

*Qualys

*System Center implementation and management

*Understanding of DNS

*Nutanix HCI.

*EMC and HDS storage arrays.

*EMC Networker, Data Domain, and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.

*ESX VMWare

*IBM Tivoli and Netcool

*Active Directory, LDAP and Kerberos

*BMC Control-M

*SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence.

*Working knowledge of cloud computing - IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings across Azure, AWS, GCP and Oracle.

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is Inside IR35, and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. The day rate on offer is £450 + 17.3% Uplift (£78.05). The uplift covers Employer's NI (13.8%), Pension (3%) and the Apprenticeship Levy (0.5%) so that these are not deducted from your day rate. The total pay to your umbrella is £527.85.
