SQL Server .NET Developer

International Banking Group - 6 Month Contract

PAYE Umbrella: £500pd + 17.3% PAYE Uplift

Currently Home Working, Later Central London

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract SQL Server / .NET Developer to join them on an initial 6-month contract to develop new functionality for existing applications across various areas of the business.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for all .NET / SQL Server developments including online GUI developments, interfaces, database development and ETL. We are looking for individuals with excellent experience of .NET and SQL Server with experience working closely with business users, working across the full development lifecycle.

Technical Skills / Experience Required

*SQL Server 2008/2012 development

*.NET Server-Side Development

*.NET Web-Based GUI Development

*End-to-End Development Lifecycle

*Design Patterns and Frameworks

*Desirable: Azure Web Development

*Desirable: BMC Control-M Scheduling Tool

Key Responsibilities

*Working on an identified list of functional and non-functional improvements

*Working closely with application business owners to ensure changes have the required impact.

*Manage all aspects of testing to ensure successful deployment of changes.

*Adhere to agreed standards of development and release/deployment.

*Support users as required during UAT / User Acceptance Testing

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is Inside IR35, and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. The day rate on offer is £500 + 17.3% Uplift (£86.50). The uplift covers Employer's NI (13.8%), Pension (3%) and the Apprenticeship Levy (0.5%) so that these are not deducted from your day rate. The total pay to your umbrella is £586.50pd.
