This is not your typical block level Analog Mixed Signal IC Design job! Are you interested in applying your experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design to product development and are a good problem solver who can get to the core of an issue fast and efficiently? Then this might be a great opportunity for you to work on real life products and support a leading supplier of ASIC’s to the automotive industry in the continuous improvement of their products. In your position as Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer, leading Engineers in the analysis of issues and reporting to your group manager, you will you will work in a team of very experienced Engineers and Physicists trouble shooting IC related issues raised by customers using your understanding of the working of the application/system to improve faulty IC’s and develop the next generation of the product.
As the successful Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer you are industry degree qualified and have at least 3 year of industry experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC design in a Cadence environment including a good understanding of the analog system and extraordinarily good problem solving skills as well as the keen interest and proven the ability to efficiently drill down to the care issue of a complex technical issue. You have also experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, lab testing, CMOS and ideally come from an automotive back group, but this is not essential. Good written and spoken English is an essential Skills and experience in DfT, Fib and LEM as well as ISO26262 is beneficial to your application but can be learned on the job, so you need to be interested in learning new tools and continuously improve your skills.
